When we first got there it was open bar... then dinner w/ wine... then after parties all in the same hotel. Different networks would hold their own after parties with snacks and drinks.
The highlight of the evening was when I walked up to the front middle with Gary, a co-worker, to get a photo in front of the President. Gary yelled to the President to ask if it was okay and the President gave a "Of course" smile. Then he looked over at me and smiled I waved and he waved and gave me a double thumbs up. Pretty sweet! Then he looked at the camera as we got our pictures taken. Here are the two pictures... same thing just different focuses (click on them to enlarge).
I also enjoyed the entertainment. Two guys from "Whose Line is it Anyways." They did two improv rutines... I highly recomend checking them both out. You may have seen the Karl Rove rap on TV but the other rutine with Brian Williams was really funny too. Check out the videos on my Youtube playlist below and my other pictures on facebook here.
