James Kanka

I started listening to this album via Phil Wickham’s blog, and I really enjoy it. It’s a solo album by the lead singer of Mercy Me, now I can’t say I’m a big fan of Mercy Me but this is a great album if you like old hymns and a New Orleans sound. I’ve enjoyed the Preservation Hall Jazz Band for a few years now and this has a very similar sound on some tracks. Give it a listen if you can… I’ve been enjoying it on Rhapsody.
